Staying safe in the sun

July 10, 2019

With summer finally here it is important to remember that the best way for children to have fun in the sun is to stay safe in the sun.  Here are a few tips:

1. Apply a high factor sun-cream generously and regularly throughout the day (check that the sun-cream is in date).

2. Wear a hat and a t-shirt.

3. Drink plenty.

4. Spend time in the shade between 11am and 3pm to avoid the hottest part of the day.
