What to do when asked to self-isolate

If your child presents with any one of the main coronavirus symptoms we will ask you and your family to self isolate and get a test for the person who is showing symptoms.

If you are self isolating you must not go out or have visitors in your house - this is to prevent the potential spread of infection.

It can be frustrating if you feel that your child has a cold and that the school is being over cautious; however please understand that we have a duty of care to all of our children, staff and their families and must follow the guidance we are given by Public Health in order to reduce the spread of the virus.

If you are self isolating we can offer support by providing a pack of work for the children and if necessary drop off food parcels. If you need support please call school; you must not under any circumstances come to school as this places those around you at potential risk.
