As many of you are aware we now have 3 bubbles in school closed as a result of positive COVID-19 cases. I know that this is a cause for concern for many but please be assured that we are in contact with Public Health and will follow all advice given by them.
We have been very lucky up to this point in not having to close bubbles and the current situation reflects the very sharp rise in cases in the community. We understand that many parents who have children isolating will struggle to get siblings to school; please let us know if this is the case and we will on this occasion authorise those absences.
We continue to clean school thoroughly not only at the end of the day but throughout the day and hand washing routines for children remain rigourous. Bubbles are kept separate to avoid cross contamination.
Please help us to ensure there are no further cases in school by not bringing children into school if they have a cough, a temperature or a loss of taste or smell. Please also ensure that there is someone we can contact at all times so that if your child becomes unwell with COVID-19 symptoms they can be taken home to isolate as soon as possible.
