You may already be aware that we have had to close the Year 3 bubble due to a positive COVID 19 case within that bubble. All children and staff in Year 3 are having to self isolate until Friday 9th July. The parents of any additional children who have been contacts with the positive case have been notified. Brothers and sisters of children who are isolating are not affected.
If your child develops any symptom of COVID 19 (cough, temperature or loss or taste or smell) your whole family must isolate immediately and you must get a PCR test for the child with symptoms.
A PCR test is one that is administered at a test centre or one that you have to send away to get the results.
If you are unable to get to a test centre we have a number of PCR tests in school - please call the office if you need one.
You must not return to school until either you have a negative test result or your ten days of isolation are completed.
If another member of the family develops symptoms the isolation period starts again until the full ten days are over or you have a negative PCR test.
The home tests that give you a result in 30 minutes must not be used on someone with COVID 19 symptoms as they are not designed for this purpose.
If you are unsure what to do please visit the NHS website or call the school office.
