Welcome back!

Welcome back to a new school year. We hope you all had a restful(?) fun-filled break and are ready for another busy school year. It is lovely to see the children back looking so smart and refreshed - it's amazing how much they seem to shoot up during the six week's break!

Huge thanks to everyone who sent in pictures of the children getting caught writing over the summer and to those who encouraged the children to write and draw in their diaries during the holidays. This year we are having a big push on improving writing throughout the school and want your support in encouraging the children to write for any purpose from stories and diaries to shopping lists and notes.

There are already a number of trips planned for this term and we will keep you up to date on events as they are planned - you can check on up and coming dates on the calendar tab on this website.

If you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate to speak to the class teacher or make an appointment to see a member of staff at the office. Mrs Craven is our Emotional Well-being Practitioner and will be happy to speak to anyone who is concerned about their child's well-being or who is struggling with issues at home.
